Charlies World is an excellent series, I read in my copy of My Weekly this week (20.08.05) it's a fond farewell, hope this just means as they go to the USA - behind the 8-ball a bit with issues, as I'm in Australia and have been buying the mag for about 40 years.

I'm one of Patti's oldest friends. I now live in OZ and am useless with computers. But I am staying, briefly, with Patti, in her wonderfully chaotic house - filled with sundry grandchildren and the walls bearing more pictures than any national gallery. Of course I've read Charlie's World, because she sent it to me for Christmas instead of a calender of Kent Views. Cheapskate! Our friendship has always involved trading insults. But she's won this time.
